Treatment Facilities

What is the Treatment Facilities Committee?

The purpose of the Westside Central Office Treatment Facilities Committee is to coordinate Twelfth Step Work between individual A.A.s and A.A. Groups that wish to carry A.A.’s message of hope to alcoholics in outpatient and/or inpatient treatment settings.
Below is a list of some of the activities by a Treatment Facilities Committee:
  • Host meetings at Treatment Facilities
  • Match up individual A.A.s and/or A.A. Groups with a Treatment Facility that would like to host an A.A. meeting
  • Coordinates a temporary contact program, such as Bridging the Gap, between Treatment Facility Clients and a Member of A.A.
  • Arranges purchase and distribution of literature to Treatment Facility meetings.

Other activities by Treatment Facility Committees are described in the Treatment Committee Workbook from GSO.
